Yep, Park City was our favorite ski town back in the day when we went skiing every year. Been several times. Plenty of easy flights from Florida.
I had to attend and present a paper at a week long conference held at Park City in January twice. Afternoons between 12 and 7 were off but I ground a good way to stay entertained.
Spent a week in Moab a few years ago and loved the area. Never saw a cop, never heard a siren and saw no homeless. How weird is that?

Most people have no idea the beauty there. That and the things a custom Jeep can climb. Hells Revenge and in particular Hell’s Gate are must do at least once. The pucker factor is real.
Checked out the Utah State campus in Logan winter break 2014 because the daughter wanted to study wildlife (one word, not two) and wild lands management. Spent Christmas Eve in SLC on the way south to the big natl parks and Grand Canyon. It snowed and walking around Temple Square in snowfall with all the Christmas lights up was truly awe inspiring. Found out later that all those (countless) lights are put up and taken down by volunteers every year. Wow!
