Found this interesting. Author basically says race is a social construct but it’s reallllllly important people don’t try to change their Race. JMHO, but Some mental gymnastics in there. Hard to rationale that it’s not ok to change your race which you could argue is not genetic based on 23me etc, but is ok to ‘change’ XY Inside the online world of people who think they can change their race

John Howard Giffin’s, Black Like Me. A top 10 impactful book on my understanding of the 1960’s and the civil rights movement. Good reminder for me to re-read it now.
