At this point I feel like if you have a pulse, you're still in the mix. It's making me a bit nervous because I heard rumors we would hear something early last week to late this week. but nothing has come of it. I'm still hearing positive news but of course it's not official until it becomes official.

 

Vawter will be heading to Japan wit Team USA for the Japan all start series. I don't know when exactly, but it starts August 4th and ends august 7th. I'm thinking we should know her decision before she leaves.

 

If we only get one would you prefer Maxwell or Vawter?

 

Maxwell because she’s a lefty and Keegan Rothrock and Ava Brown are both right handers. Gives opposing hitters a different look.

Texas will be an SEC member in softball beginning in 2025. So if Maxwell wants to go SEC, wouldn't Texas still be in play?

As far as I can tell, although I am still in the middle of watching the Senior All-American game, I haven't seen Walton all day at the PGF tournament. He has usually been there in past years. Did he have to stay home in Gainesville this year to meet with some pitchers?

For any who can see this short clip on her Instagram account, it appears Vawter says to tune in tomorrow at 5 pm.

 

I don't think she's announcing anything tomorrow. She was on a podcast and it's going to air tomorrow.
