Yeah, his dad is a quality guy. Met him several times. He is not tall, but built, and low to the ground. From a good family.

And Darnell Docket injured his knee--deliberately-- and probably cost us a natty that year. Earnest does NOT like the Noles, and and I am guessing he has passed this on to his son.

 

I remember the Dockett thing only too well. Played a big role in SOS leaving too. I truly hate that guy and wish him nothing good - same for that scumbag school he played for

He’s been recruiting like crazy. Love this kid already.

 

He should have gone to Eastside instead

 

At the very least, we lost the chance to play for one, and I will always believe that. That was part DD, part Bin Laden. I will concede that the ewe would’ve been tough to beat that year, but we were literally the only team in the country with a legit shot at taking them down.

 

While this is good for us, I don't love this trend (kids transfering HS, even when it is close to their college destination). I guess I'm old fashioned, but playing for the HS where you live used to mean something. It was more than a stepping stone to the next level, etc.

 

More than his college destination....keep an eye on his dad coaching

 

I was just going to mention this. It’ll be good to see E.G. back in the Ville!

 

Damn, I was planning on going to one of his games at Woodward.

 

Earnest was a FT. Myers guy. Myles played HS ball in FT. Myers. Now moving back to Florida, close to future school, and with a future college teammate seems like a good move.

 

High School is the new college.

Or maybe it's middle school.

 

Yep. I live in Fort Myers and a street just a couple blocks away is named after Earnest. Didn’t move away from here too long ago.
