Thread on reddit about this by a poster saying if the rumors they here are true Florida fans will be real happy this week or next. Another poster asked where they heard it and the original said I'll message you to that poster. Sounds legit as you cna get for message boards.

 

Buckeygator - the Dylan concert I saw at Florida Field was in 1976 and was part of the Rolling Thunder Review. Steve Martin introduced the band as he had a concert at the Great Southern Music Hall the day before and stayed in town for the Dylan concert - ring a bell?

 

Well, since I qualify was one of the old geezers here....I might as well join....'70 to '77 in Gainesville. Uh....I worked my way through....took a full year off and came back. I'm pretty dumb but not that dumb that it took seven full years to complete four. Anyway...my best or worst concert recollection....depending on your or my perspective....my ex was always madly in love with Leon Russell. Would have left me in a heartbeat. Come to think of it, perhaps that's what happened to her. But, I digress. Leon was supposed to play Florida Field. Must have been August or something because all I remember was she made a bunch of us sit outside on the sidewalk for hours to make sure we would be in the front row when the gates opened. Hotter than hell. Could have boiled water on that sidewalk. Anyway....it then rained and the concert was canceled. I still get a laugh out of that.

 

If both these pitchers come I can't wait to see the meltdown from other fans lol. Though then the pressure is on for this team.

Another person was saying she's making visits to Texas, OU, A&M, FSU & UF.

That's a lot of visits considering school starts, in what, a month or so??

Texas board thinks we're getting both. So who knows... I need at least one.. come on Tim, sign someone and announce it.

 

I just don't see Maxwell going to Oklahoma. They have Nicole May coming back, 2 rising sophomore pitchers they're high on, plus 2 quality transfers from the portal.

 

I concur. That GoBoomer1 guy is the typical OU fan. He was also saying Maxwell just followed Jen and JT on snapchat. Lol OK Lol

 

Maxwell of course would be better than any of them but I just don't know why she would go there with what's already there and when she could go somewhere else and make whoever a contender with OU.

 

I'm not disagreeing with you.....it's just that we think of things as fans.....which may have no relevance whatsoever with the way a player thinks about her present and future.

 

for those that might know, is OU/OSU a bitter rivalry in softball?

 

The only reason she would go there is to stick it to Kenny and OSU.
She did not leave as a happy camper.

I'll ask who the former player is. My guess it's Kelsey Stewart or Ocasio. I think those are the only 2 players who are in the pros right now.

 

Amanda. If all of that is correct....Amanda....she is fully invested in this and is on top of it.

Back to everyone being excited about Karyn Kern.
She is a great hitter, but her fielding percentage was .932 with 16 errors at second base.
She should never see the field except as a DP.

 

She really is on top of this. I think Amanda is communicating with all of these players we want. She jumped on Jocey and she posted that Jocey was coming almost within seconds of the official. I think she knew and was just waiting.

 

Amanda was not on the champ teams, though, but they could have easily screwed that up. I think it is her.
