Totally disagree. Ava and Keagen can do most of the pitching with not a lot of help. Both are as good as Jordy Bahl and all three were National Players of the year. Jordy's freshman year she threw 141 innings had a 1.09 ERA and a record of 22 & 1.
Correct but Jordy was in the Big 12 not the SEC. Big difference in quality of hitters and the SEC has the famous “shrinking strike zone”
There is nobody in the big 12 aside from OU after OSU and Texas. No doubt in my mind all the OU pitching numbers are inflated by this.
Baylor won 40 games and the bottom 3 all had quality wins and would have similar records to lower sec teams
If you make it to the CWS you are looking at 400+ innings……even if the 2 freshmen throw 140 innings you are 120+ innings short. What if one gets hurt or a dead arm……you need at least 4 pitchers!

From what I've read about her, sounds like she's a hitting machine with has speed, sounds like the perfect leadoff for our big guns to drive in.
She’s part of the reason why I think Skylar stays at SS this season. I think she is the heir apparent at the position, not Williams.
2014 WCWS champion Florida Gators had three pitchers. Rogers 223 ip, Haeger 98, & Gourley 107 ip. 2015 WCWS champion Florida Gators had three pitchers. Haeger 222 ip, Ocasio 136, Gourley 79 ip. TW can do it with three.
While I think 3 great pitchers can do it....i mean look at what bama did with pretty much with just Fouts though torrence stepped up.... the game has changed a bit since then as far as so much more friendly to offense.
Townsen Thomas says she is back to working out. I can't remember the specifics but she hurt something.....I think she blew out a knee late last year but not positive. Anyway, with her and Red Oxley and Layla Lamar (hopefully) and Taylor Shumaker....just another incredible class.
