Spot on. The trailers they have for Oppenheimer make the movie look amazing and of course the Barbie monster coming out. I already have tickets to Oppenheimer.
My personal movie index: if I walk into a theater and there are maybe 4-5 other people, I know it’s going to be great. Have never seen any of the Star War Lord of the Potter Trek movies. But I did like Forest Gump - had great music.
This, and it is tied in pretty deep to the lore. That lore is almost 30 years old now. You have to be almost irrationally tuned into the whole, which I am, to really get all the care put into it. It’s still good stand-alone, but even I was a little “Again??” about it.
Well I thought Indiana Jones was good. Didnt see MI. I think i've only seen a couple of them anyways. Plan on seeing Oppenheimer and i'm guessing my wife plans on having me go to Barbie
100% serious. Fat studies is just as valid of a field as gender studies, feminist studies, or African American studies. Explainer: what is fat studies? (theconversation.com)
It's the whole the only thing that matters and the only reality that matters is this self-perception. And it is not incumbent on the individual to change based on the demands of society, but it is incumbent on society to change according to the demands of the individual. You can be an obese 4'11 woman who thinks she's a man that looks like Brad Pitt. It is the job of society to make sure that person feels validated, and feels like she's actually perfect just the way she is even if she has a plethora of health issues. We need to go back to sympathizing with the mentally ill, not glamorizing them by glamorizing the mental illness.
Since the strike started no actors are doing any publicity, basically half the machinery of movie promotion is shutdown now
I am at least glad that Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon are past post-production because I don't think those release dates will be affected as far as I know.
