Baseball vs LSU, Sat 6/24, 7:00 pm EDT

Watching our guys look at so many strikes is depressing.
Can't hit the ball if you don't swing the bat.
Looks like they're in some kind of trance (Lazy?).

 

Kudos to their fan base for showing up. It’s usually the case. They seem to be the 10th man

 

I was thinking the same thing. That was worse. In Game 1, we were 3-3 in the bottom of the 9th. We had bases loaded with NO OUTS, and could not drive one damn run in to win it. Needless to say we went down without much of a fight in game 2. Unfortunately, I see a very similar scenario playing out tomorrow.

 

Or if he does, there is no way he throws a lot of pitches. So if you are LSU and it’s game three pick your poison. Does he pitch first, or last to close it out? All a gamble for them.

These are the two best teams in the country and they are very evenly matched. Like Billy Donovan used to say there is a thin, thin line between winning and losing sometimes. That ball sails over the left fielder’s head and we win the game. But I bet TCU feels the same way we do tonight.

Yeh, but they are very fickle. Let that program start having some seasons like they did in mid 2000s, and they drop off quickly. Before Skip Bertman got there. they never knew they had a baseball team.

Nice catch but not even close to spectacular like Robertson.

 

I mean we should respect them showing up there but pretending distance doesn't play a factor is naive, good luck paying for a flight there in the last 3-4 days plus everything else.

 

Count these gators out at high risk. LSU fans are always obnoxious and I would add from personal experience, extra stupid. I'd like nothing more than our gators to send them back to stew in their chithole of a state.

But I'll admit the food is pretty good there.

 

You'd think eating all those corndogs would be thinning the ranks...
