couldn’t agree more… You get defense with Mikey and I think he will give us more quality at bats and at least fight/compete

We have what's known as a pitching duel going on right now.

This, he isn’t out there throwing fastballs and breaking balls and all that mixing it up, I wouldn’t have thought our guys would struggle with fastballs like this, I was more worried if they got to that soft throwing slider guy in their pen.

I'm guessing the scouting report is we alike swinging at high inside fastballs.

I'm having a flashback to 2011 when the Gators made Michael Roth look like Cy Young. Fist bump to the earlier poster making that observation.

 

Pretty much everyone has. He certainly has hit spots, but it’s crazy how many whiffs on fastback strikes we’ve had.
