Republicans keep alienating more and more people. SMH. They call themselves a big tent Party but in reality they’re just a trailer park with a high fence around it.
Which is kind of weird, because other than the GOP giving him more name recognition, he is kind of a nobody in national politics.
He is just part of a group of bipartisan lookatme’s who run to a camera after every secret committee meeting. He paints a target on himself.
I get it. He has a very punchable face. That doesn't have anything to do with his politics or actions. He just does. I can't explain it
I read that they didn't have the votes to fine him, and I guess they felt they had to make a statement so they could claim victory.
Getting censured by the republicans in the House of Representatives is like getting a "Come on Man" from Bluke. It's more of a badge of honor.
Schiff was on tv leaking intelligence information every chance he could as well as tell bold face lies for almost three years about Trump's collusion which has now been proven to be false in all reports. He earned this censure.
Huh. How many times did this guy claim Russia collusion? I bet in a 2 year period he went on a cable network a few times a day repeating the same lie. So let's say 1,000 + times repeating the same thing knowing it was not true. Most knew it was not true and Durham gave us confirmation it was not true. Schiff is a sociopath.
All right hotshot. Show me where in the Mueller report it says Trump and the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Don't be ignorant and cite all of the attempts by Russia to interfere. That is a completely separate matter and not what Schiff was saying on tv every day. Schiff was specifically saying Trump colluded. Cite for us where Trump is accused of colluding.
BTW, it's ignorant if you DON"T believe Russian interference with the election and Russian collusion with the Trump campaign are related....mind numbingly ignorant. Start here: "Myth: Mueller found “no collusion.” "Response: Mueller spent almost 200 pages describing “numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign.” He found that “a Russian entity carried out a social media campaign that favored presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaged presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.” He also found that “a Russian intelligence service conducted computer-intrusion operations” against the Clinton campaign and then released stolen documents." "While Mueller was unable to establish a conspiracy between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians involved in this activity, he made it clear that “[a] statement that the investigation did not establish particular facts does not mean there was no evidence of those facts.” In fact, Mueller also wrote that the “investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts.” "To find conspiracy, a prosecutor must establish beyond a reasonable doubt the elements of the crime: an agreement between at least two people, to commit a criminal offense and an overt act in furtherance of that agreement. One of the underlying criminal offenses that Mueller reviewed for conspiracy was campaign-finance violations. Mueller found that Trump campaign members Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner met with Russian nationals in Trump Tower in New York June 2016 for the purpose of receiving disparaging information about Clinton as part of “Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump,” according to an email message arranging the meeting. This meeting did not amount to a criminal offense, in part, because Mueller was unable to establish “willfulness,” that is, that the participants knew that their conduct was illegal. Mueller was also unable to conclude that the information was a “thing of value” that exceeded $25,000, the requirement for campaign finance to be a felony, as opposed to a civil violation of law. But the fact that the conduct did not technically amount to conspiracy does not mean that it was acceptable. Trump campaign members welcomed foreign influence into our election and then compromised themselves with the Russian government by covering it up." "Mueller found other contacts with Russia, such as the sharing of polling data about Midwestern states where Trump later won upset victories, conversations with the Russian ambassador to influence Russia’s response to sanctions imposed by the U.S. government in response to election interference, and communications with Wikileaks after it had received emails stolen by Russia. While none of these acts amounted to the crime of conspiracy, all could be described as “collusion.” These 11 Mueller Report Myths Just Won’t Die
That doesn’t strike me as true at all. It has been his position as the chief prosecutor and heads of other committees that have put him in the spotlight.
100% incorrect post The Dems got Durham to admit yesterday that the Trump campaign worked with the Russians. And for that matter, so did the former GOP Senate Intelligence Committee.
I have no patience for people who mistreat their employees. You learn a lot about people from how they treat the folks they have power over and the folks they think can't do anything for them.
