Damn, looks like the airlines finally caught on to the Kansas City trick. Used to be way cheaper to fly there and worth the 2 hour drive, but doesn't seem to be the case now.
The best way to do it IMO is the Red Way direct flight to Lincoln from Orlando leaving tomorrow afternoon- it’s a ~$45 Uber to get to Omaha from there. Most cost efficient method and least travel time.
Some year I am going to fly into Chicago Midway, visit family on the Southside and then take Amtrak to Omaha.
