Please take a moment to acknowledge the True Christian Right, people like our own Tim Tebow and Tilly. Cudos to those that practice what they preach, and never preach hate. Jesus never preached hate. This agnostic holds much respect for those that actually follow what Jesus taught.
Several Pastors are also authors, or leadership speakers or successful real estate stories. I have no issues with them making what anyone else who is successful in those fields make. Andy Stanley is one who is a mega church pastor who makes a great deal of money. He also writes amazing books on leadership that are good regardless of what you believe and I have never heard him ask for a dime from anyone that watches anything he puts out. He lives a relatively humble life. But he is the rare exception. He is sort of the model to follow when it comes to meshing financial success in business with ministry. He is sort of the anti Osteen. .
