The man responsible for the Kenneth Copeland’s and Jesse Duplantis’ of the world existing today, a king grifter among many grifters. I’ll never understand how people would ever donate money to these individuals to buy multiple private jets, mansions, and luxury cars, but they’re awful people and I feel no sympathy about his death.
To whichever mod that deleted my post for “calling out” another member, you clearly missed the context. I, in no way, whatsoever, “called out” anyone except the dirtbag who was noted as deceased. Can the mods that edit/delete posts please identify themselves? This way I/we could reply in a DM, instead of bringing my/our comment(s) to the public forum.
Not pertaining to Pat specifically, but I've always been of the mind to live your life in a way people don't have ill to speak of you after you die.
Was it ever truly a thing? *Never* is a bit extreme, and I doubt even the holiest of those on the tallest high horse actually ascribe to it. Certainly it makes sense to not raise petty grievances against “regular” people or “decent” people you may just disagree with on a few things or that may owe money or have some typical failings. But when a person lived a complete life of evil skulduggery, it’s wholly appropriate to celebrate their demise. The world is a slightly better place without this person in it.
That always calls for Bette Davis' comment about Joan Crawford's death. As far as Robertson, I suspect he did some good somewhere, along with the hate that he spewed.
Almost makes me wish Christianity was true so he could spend an eternity being tortured. What an evil evil person. Him Jerry Falwell and Jim Bakker
