My eyes are watering so much, I can barely see well enough to tell Too Hotters just why their opinions are wrong.
I believe ora is in maybe Ashburn (no pun intended) or so? So could be different, but I def would avoid outdoors today. And I generally am going to be the last one to begrudgingly admit that I have to actively react to a situation like this. Yesterday, I didn't think twice about being outside even though it was a code red most of the day. Today my eyes are drying out, my sinuses are also drying out, and I can still smell smoke, even after hours of being in it. And other than a trip to and from the car, all inside.
I was in DC area this week and yesterday morning when I came out of my hotel I could smell it. I had no idea what it was until later in the day.
It was hazy here in Oklahoma on Tuesday. I went and look at some of the maps and it was the smoke from Canada. It has cleared out today and is bright and Sunny.
Yeah, I was thinking of the big fire in Banff. They tried to sneak a controlled burn in prior to a weather change and they lost control of it.
They can't possibly believe that nonsense, can they? At least in a global pandemic you can't see taste or smell the thing that's killing you. How tf do they sit there and say this with a straight face? They're either dumber than I think or just really crappy, evil people.
