Malware

    Accidently downloaded malware. Titled Background check.

    Tries to delete it several ways but no delete button appears.

    How can I delete it?

    That's tough. I don't know how technically inclined you are, but if it were me, I would create a bootable ISO to try and scan and remove it.

    I would also remove it from the local network (most likely your wifi connection if you use it) in case it is worm-able and spreads around your network.

    If you use USB thumb drives, don't stick it in any other computers. Personally, I would toss every thumb drive that was used in it.

    You can look at possibly finding Windows restore points, although this can be hit or miss.
