Actually, the turnaround with Bush was pretty funny to watch. There were all these claims about what a great Reaganite conservative he was until it was clear that his term was going in the toilet. Then there was a quick "Well, I never liked him ... He was never really a conservative ..."
Ironic. Dear Leader is the biggest threat to our democracy since ….ever? Since the Civil War? Has there ever been anyone as divisive? He literally encouraged civil war with his posts. There is good reason he’s considered one of the worst potus ever.

Let's focus the discussion on whether Donald Trump is a reasonable candidate for the GOP candidacy or is he a loony bat-shit crazy guy whose insult comic bit is entertaining enough to the right wing for them ignore all his shortcomings and vote against democrats who have done a fine job in power these last 2 years. I have no issue with people who took a flyer on Trump. He seemed crazy to me but I can see thinking he would grow into the job instead of bring the job down to his level. I have serious issues with people who voted for him a second time, or that still support him after attempting to overthrow the vote and bribe Ukraine.
Plus there is plenty of cross-pollination between the two groups of advisors. Would be foolish to see Orban's style as irrelevant, since there is acknowledged collaboration one level up
I'm unsure why people are attacking you Vinn. You posted a retraction of Trump. I for one appreciate hearing from conservatives that are moving away from Trump. Nothing to be gained pointing fingers about previous decisions. The upcoming decision is the important one. Trump seems to be the frontrunner for the next GOP presidential nomination. My personal take is I would accept any of the other declared GOP candidates over Trump. Trump is a victim of his own decisions and of course his big mouth. Sooner or later, crimes will catch up to you. Trump hoodwinked conservatives, the GOP and his many supporters. IMO the "shimmer" is starting to fade now for Mr. Trump. He's a hunted man running from the law. Thats why he is running again, he's looking for cover.
