Report is a political hit piece with no substance. 3 years and not a single crime.

I guess I'd try to make fun of this because it paints the FBI, the Clinton Campaign and the Obama Admin as very shady. I hate trump but this was some extremely dirty shit.

Maybe you should write your own report on how mean everyone was to Trump. Maybe if you look even harder you might find something illegal that actually happened.

Seems like the end result of this, the Mueller report, did find several crimes, got 37 indictments, 7 convictions ... It's OK to admit that you think Republican administrations should never be investigated.

The Special Counsel investigation uncovered extensive criminal activity
    • The investigation produced 37 indictments; seven guilty pleas or convictions; and compelling evidence that the president obstructed justice on multiple occasions. Mueller also uncovered and referred 14 criminal matters to other components of the Department of Justice.
    • Trump associates repeatedly lied to investigators about their contacts with Russians, and President Trump refused to answer questions about his efforts to impede federal proceedings and influence the testimony of witnesses.
    • A statement signed by over 1,000 former federal prosecutors concluded that if any other American engaged in the same efforts to impede federal proceedings the way Trump did, they would likely be indicted for multiple charges of obstruction of justice.

There was no Russia collusion. The funny thing is anyone who doubted it back then was labeled a conspiracy theorist and that Trump must've done it. Well, it was all made up. Anyone defending it looks as bad as the Clinton camp, the Obama Admin and the FBI.

A lot of people on this board don't care that this was made up and used to harass Trump, his family, staff etc. They listened in on their phone calls, accessed their emails, spied on them. What did that Nixon guy do? They don't care that the Justice Dept, FBI etc got right on board with no investigation into the allegations made by Team Hillary (they have admitted that now) and joined the effort to undermine Trump's campaign and Presidency just because they didn't like him. They all knew and people like Schiff knew it was made up and they continued to lie and say they had the evidence to show collusion. Schiff just laughs about it now but he repeatedly lied to Congress and to the American people with no remorse and to this point no consequences. And to a lot of you on here that is just fine. But Trump has documents at his residence....lock him up.

I am no fan of Trump but this was awful and makes the US look like a banana republic. And someone needs to help me understand how we've implemented new FBI training so that agents know they shouldn't swear in court applications to the truth of political opposition research that they haven't corroborated? What was the prior training that said that was OK?

Also, will the NYT's and other media outlets that literally ran with this hoax for years issue an apology? Think we all know the answer.

Not laughing it off, I just think much like Mueller, Durham is someone whose time has passed. People change and just because you were good at one time doesn’t mean anything a few years later.
Funny thing about raw intel, rumor if you will, what do you do with it? You try and verify, investigate if you will. Now looking at the best misinfo, they give you kernels that could be verified and much that could not. Vast majorities of that report would have no chance of verification.
Now throw in that Page and others were walking, talking access point vulnerabilities (weird mofos) and what do you do?
Another take is political operatives and appointees should never have raw intel, why, politics sucks.

So how many of you are going to admit that the Russian collusion was a a made up deal perpetuated by the Clinton campaign?
Also, maybe you lawyers can expand on this. Should any of the Mueller indictments be thrown out because they were fruit from a tainted tree? The entire thing should have never happened to begin with.
Hope your side is happy with what you put this country through!

Sounds like the best that you have is that since Trump knew it was all bullshit and didn’t roll over and hand them the noose they would hang him with them he should be hung for defending himself?

All of your above points have to to with Trump’s behavior during an investigation that he knew at the time to be bogus, and now everyone knows it was bogus. Prior to the so called obstruction, that had and found nothing on him.

Trump lost me the day that he let that moron Fauci convince him to “flatten the curve” and shut down the economy. I said as early as April of 2020 that we would be dealing with the economic impact of those moronic decisions for at least a decade. Here we are after 3+ years and it is still a shitshow. The turd hasn’t even stopped steaming yet, and it still has to stop smelling and disintegrate into the ground over the next few years. Trump either pushed it or went along with it so I’m no supporter. But this whole mess of OUR government agencies weaponizing their policies and inter-bureau collusion to attack citizens is even below banana republic tactics.

Having been in the target area of a government investigation where they determined what “facts” were “facts” I can honestly say that I would not wish that on anyone. Even some of you Libs who have been cheerleading this charade since 2016. Fortunately we had some tremendous in house and outside counsel attorneys who held their own. I really believe that people in those leadership positions that allowed, encouraged, and often participated in this fraud should hang in front of the Capitol on Independence Day.
