Feels like Republican members think they have something but just can't prove what that is yet. The number of LLCs and payments isn't surprising - that could just be the legal tax shelter game that wealthy people get to play (unfortunately). The number of SARs is certainly interesting but we don't know how many are directly tied to Hunter (or Joe) and depends on how wide a net was cast in the investigation as far as how many different people/companies. A SAR also isn't confirmation of any wrongdoing. The filing of "defensive" SARs is very common when a Bank just can't determine the purpose of a transaction. All that being said, there's enough here to warrant continuing to look at this activity.
