Prosecutors: Former Bills punter Matt Araiza wasn't present during alleged gang rape this, and the duke lacrosse from years ago, another rush to judgement by prosecutors.
Just curious, but since the prosecutors decided to not charge him, how is this "rush to judgement by prosecutors"? Do you not read your own linked articles, or just not understand the difference between a Civil Action and Criminal Action?
i guess i should have said a rush to judgement by the public and the biils organization, you know, guilty until proven innocent
Still she ruined the guys life and faces zero consequences. They should blast her name image and likeness all over as equivocation.
So from the article you posted in the op…. . “prosecutors announcing on Dec. 7, 2022, that after conducting their own 124-day investigation that they wouldn’t press any criminal charges in the case”
Ahhhhh. I knew it. Trump is a victim and point of the op. Maga is obsessed with Dear Leader. So another trump thread. Cool, I’ll see what we can post about on his latest malfeasance.
The plaintiff isn't the problem in this case. The former employer is. There need to be serious, game-changing consequences to a business for throwing an employee under the bus like this because the damage follows him out the door. It isn't all about your bottom line, and it's no longer about you at all when it comes to light that you willingly aided and abetted in ruining someone's life without knowing the facts.
People get fired for “optics” all the time and the “optics” I’ve seen people get fired for are no where close to as bad as a gang rape accusation. I agree, I wish we had more regulations on employers for how they can fire someone. But I have to wonder why false rape accusations, which are rare, are so upsetting compared to unconfirmed rumors, innuendo, and “bad optics” of any other kind that can lead people to being fired?
From the report he wasn't even there anymore. While we'll never know for sure it sure sounds like this guy got dragged over nothing and lost his career. I couldn't begin to tell you the solution to something like this though.
Same here. it appears he’s 100 percent innocent. How do you prevent the damage that comes with an accusation like that?
Should have been a QB like DeShaun Watson instead of a punter, you could probably actually do the thing if that were the case.
