What do Puerto Ricans (US Citizens from not a foreign country) have in common with Mexican immigrants? Perhaps you would like to tell the class what you were thinking.
Is Louisville a red city? More like purple. Louisville, KY Political Map – Democrat & Republican Areas in Louisville | BestNeighborhood.org
Child labor law violations increase 68% in NY in 2022 I guess this proves itis a red state problem. It's up 70% in Kentucky and only 68% in New York. In July 2022, the U.S. Dept. of Labor found more than 2,800 minors who were employed in violation of the law in 2021. New York State saw 464 child labor cases last year with $270,000 in civil penalties collected from employers who violated child labor laws. According to NYSDOL, the majority of violations pertain to wage underpayments, hours of work and barred employment.
Seems to be supported by political establishment GOP. ‘It’s just crazy’: Republicans attack US child labor laws as violations rise The Department of Labor issued a press release in July 2022 noting child labor violations and investigations have increased since 2015. Several high-profile investigations involving child labor have been exposed over the past year, including the use of child labor in Hyundai and Kia supply chains in Alabama, at JBS meatpacking plants in Nebraska and Minnesota, and at fast-food chains including McDonald’s, Dunkin Donutsand Chipotle. Amid these increases in child labor violations, legislative efforts have been introduced in several states to roll back child labor protections. In Iowa, Republican legislators introduced a bill in January to expand the types of work 14- and 15-year-olds would be permitted to do as part of approved training programs, extend allowable work hours, and exempt employers from liability if these young workers are sickened, injured or killed on the job.
again, i was using a group who has historically had underage child labor, if i offended puerto rican's i am sorry, but you cannot deny child labor abuse can be shown with them, that is what i ment.
let's face facts. Cnn, a liberal leaning news organization reported the facts. if Fox news had done it,reporting abuse in blue states, well you know how that would play here
yeah, i am sure sweat shops report themselves to the news, and farm workers repost to the agricultural department with numbers on underage workers.
Probably shouldn’t act like it’s just a red state thing unless there’s, you know, evidence that it’s just a red state thing.
wow, a liberal with common sense. of course it's a 50 state thing, but the OP chose to focus only on red stares.
Iowa wants them to be able to serve booze at 16. Given what I remember about being 16 years old, I'm sure none of the servers will indulge
I rated this funny, not to mock your post, but because how ridiculous the statements were that you corrected.
