RIP Canada. Canada has put forward the Protect 2SLGBTQI+ Communities Act. And it shows the true colors and the end game of the DEI movement. If you break the DEI speech codes as defined in the Protect 2SLGBTQI+ Communities Act, in government designated zones, then you can be fined $25,000 in Canada. New bill would criminalize protests and offensive remarks in parts of Canada (bizpacreview.com)
I think fining people half of their annual salary who say something you don't agree with is pretty hateful. Don't you?
You have to think like a lawyer. A lawyer or a judge or even the devil himself...when they approve of something evil, there is always a masking of what it really is so there is a cloak of deniability. People don't say that they are going to kill their baby. There is deceitful language to hide what it really is. "Well...I'm getting rid a parasite." "Well...I'm removing some cells." "I'm excercising my right to choose." "I'm living a life of female empowerment." "I'm protecting the 2SLGBTQI+ community." China does it too. "We are protecting our national sovereignty." There is always a reengineering of the words to distort their meaning in order to get away with and justify evil. That is how these things work. The law criminalizes: distributing hate propaganda within the meaning of the Criminal Code. uttering threats or making offensive remarks, either verbally or in writing, with respect to matters of social orientation or gender roles engaging in a protest or demonstration for the purpose of furthering the objectives of homophobia and transphobia. Ask yourself...take the craziest most corrupt leftist socialist lawyer in Canada and ask yourself what would they define as "hate speech?" What would they define as "offensive remarks?" What would they define as "threatening?" You know people claim "I don't feel safe" when someone in the room disagrees with their ideology. That is where we are at. People who think contrary to our infantile totalitarian bubble we are raised in are "dangerous" and "threatening", and "I don't feel safe." You say something that disagrees with or offends my ideology and your words are "violence." You have to look at this law that way. If you happen to be in one of these zones, and you say there are only two genders...then you are guilty of all of that stuff, and you are going to be fined $25K. Those 3 bullet points cover saying there are only two genders in every conceivable way you could do it. You can't have print material that says it. You can't say it yourself. And even if you don't have it in writing or say it verbally...you can still be fined $25K if the underlying motive or purpose of your engagement is deemed to be furthering homophobia or transphobia by the state. Free speech is gone when the attorney general says it is gone in Canada.
So, they have no Constitutional right to free speech? Lol... what a commie country they turned out to be. So, when will the Hollywood types start moving there?
I'm having a hard time understanding what's evil about this? Also, if anyone knows OP then you know that they're leaving something out and there is a lot more to this story
First, the bill was not passed. Second, the bill doesn't do what you say it does. You should stop believing sources that lie to you. Posts Make Misleading Claims About Bill to Protect LGBTQ+ Events in Ontario - FactCheck.org Posts distort proposed LGBTQ ‘safety zone’ bill in Canada
I don’t know wha their speech rights are, but it wouldn’t shock me if they weren’t as wide as the US. I know the UK’s speech rights are more limited. I seriously doubt such a law would fly in the US.
So if a man wants to transition to another gender then what other option does he have besides female?
I don't follow the guy on twitter. A Facebook friend in Canada was posting about it, and that is how I found out about the twitter post. It looks like I was mistaken on it passing. Looking back at where I found the source...it was ambiguous. It was not clear that the bill had yet to pass. Glad to be wrong on that detail.
Canada has threatened to revoke Jordan Peterson's psychologist license because of some comments he made about transgenderism on Joe Rogan's podcast. They want him to undergo "re-education" in order to maintain his license. I'm sure a lot of people in Canada felt "unsafe" because of what Jordan Peterson said.
