Is Grayson McCall of Western Carolina going back into the portal

I think I read he re-signed an NIL deal with a race track up there recently. Probably doesn't mean he can't go in porta but might shed light on his intentions

He’s at Coastal Carolina, not western.

 

I was wondering the same thing while watching the game last night. I assume there would be mutual interest if he gets his credits figured out and hits the portal.

Next transfer window opens up tomorrow until the 30th, so we’ll find out sooner than later.

 

Yep, wondered the same thing as well. Napier did say we are looking to add another QB.

 

And I’d like to think he is aware of who that may be.

 

Adding a QB at this late date who would become starter would be quite the magic trick.

I'd be thrilled with a change of pace QB who runs like a bat out of hell and can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Quinn Ewers will be NFL eligible after next year? If he loses the starting job he would be a great addition as a one and done QB1, potentially.

Id feel much better about our QB room, if we could snag 2/3 between VANDAGRIFF, Murphy or McCall, if they enter.

 

Yea, give me someone who can be the starter this and next year (don't want to rush DJ) that could be good enough for 2 extra wins this year

 

A better than average qb would have to make a three game swing. Mertz may do fine but it sure didn’t look like it.

 

McCall will not be coming to UF IMO. Vandagriff would have to sit a year so I don't see that happening either.

 

Both waited 2 long.

 

What have you heard? I would think McCall is the perfect fit.
