Clark and the center work well together. The center cuts toward the basket and knows that Caitlan will hit her with a good pass. The announcers mentioned that the center hardly ever has to dribble after catching the pass!
LSU has the best coach in ladies college basketball. LSU has a good chance, as I’m sure she will design a defense to force players other than Clark to beat them
Kim Mulkey is a great coach, but she is nowhere near the best. Especially not with Geno and Tara still coaching.
I don't quite understand the South Carolina hate, but it took every bit of those 41 points from Caitlin to pull them through to victory. I think South Carolina's plan was to make sure those other shooters don't get hot and run you out of the building. Aliyah Boston getting in early foul trouble put South Carolina behind the 8-ball, but like champions, they went down fighting. This just shows how crazy of a run it was for UConn to win 4 straight titles a few years ago.
I I doubt if just 1 inch in diameter makes much difference especially since most women have smaller hands!
27 is an average game for her. Her averages are 27 ppg and 8 boards per gane. I think it will take a few more than that. Perhaps 35? It will also depend on if the officials are heavily visible.
I must have missed the SC coach giving some credit in the post game press comments to Iowa and Caitlin. Instead, she whined to the press that because many writers noted how physical her team is, they must be racist. Poor sportsmanship and classic victimhood.
I didn't see the post-game remarks, so I can't comment, but let's please not talk much about it so a certain group from another forum gets attracted. Thanks!
I've heard a lot of her former players don't like her. Is it because she seems to make these games about her?
LSU may have won, but their players are classless. Waving your ring finger at the Player of the Year shows how you were raised.
