Is this the guy who Mel Kiper said had character issues and everybody freaked out, then stuff like this keeps coming out?

Not sure anybody freaked out....Carter has been known to be a handful since his jr year in high school. None of this is in any way surprising

nah Haden came in 07. Remember in 06 we had Ryan Smith (Utah transfer) and Reggie Lewis at cornerback.

Up here in Atlanta they roasted Todd McShay for saying that about Carter. Might be common knowledge amongst those who know him but the UGA fans denied as long as they could

The problem is where would FSU (or Clemson for that matter) be going? If they ever got an invitation to join the SEC or Big-10, does anybody really believe the GOR would be a deterrent for either school. FSU and Clemson would pay/do whatever it took to leave the ACC ... if they had a place to go. No doubt in my mind.

For that matter, I don't think there's a single school in the ACC (with the exception of Notre Dame), Big-12 or Pac-12 who wouldn't gladly pay whatever it took to get into the SEC or Big-10.

This little charade, in my opinion, is more about PR and FSU saving face with their fans and boosters by making it look like they're doing things on their terms, as opposed to patiently waiting and praying for the phone to ring.

Is VH3 better than Lito? I know janoris didn't finish a Gator so maybe thats why he's not on here, but man he did start as a freshman on that 08 team.

I've never thought AR had "accuracy" issues. If his first option was there and he was able to step into his throws, I thought AR was generally pretty good. Orlovsky's example was pretty much a play where AR looked at one guy and threw it to him.

The bigger problem I saw was what happened if the first option wasn't there.

Gee, I wonder if anyone could find ONE play where he was inaccurate too?

I think what Orlovski is trying to intimate is that inaccurate QB never make those kinds of throws...

Change inaccurate to erratic then. We've all seen AR make nfl throws. No one ever denied that. Means little if you can't be consistent.

Problem is, I can pull up a vid of a horrid throw and argue an accurate QB never makes that kind of throw.

Ultimately, anyone that watched AR knows there is all world talent and upside, and also knows he is wildly erratic, struggles with decision making and accuracy. I'm not sure it's really debatable, which makes that little vid nonsense

He could be accurate, just not consistently.

New (QB) starter in a new system... deserves a break for his first year as starter... with injuries. But I would NOT pick as #1 overall. I also do NOT expect him to start in his first year in the NFL.

Or if it was a quick pass where he had to move his feet.
