I know many of my fellow Rays fans are here. Tragic news. Longtime voice of the Rays died in his sleep last night. Just did the Spring Training game yesterday.
This was really shocking news. I was out running errands Saturday and had the Rays game with the Yankees on the radio, then saw the news this morning that Dave Wills passed away. I knew he was hospitalized last year with heart issues, but still can't believe it.
Living out of Florida all these broadcasters are such apart of connecting with home. It's why I miss Mick. Dave Peckham retiring from the Lightning TV side and now this. This is terrible. I spend many a saturday doing yard work listening to Dave and Andy. Tampa sports sounding different. Have to add Deckerhoff retiring too.
