QBR objectively aggregates it all. He is only behind Trask.

QBR is a score, not a metric. It can't be objective, it's inherently opinionated. Counts and averages are metrics.

I don’t wish him not to succeed but I will be upset if he becomes great since that means we were hoodwinked. BUT, I can kind of see a Mike Vick situation with him. The dude is undoubtedly a freak athlete. He may not be as fast or cut on a dime like Vick, but if I recall Vick had the same accuracy problems and threw everything like it was on a frozen rope. A lot of ARs issues can be corrected and really he just never had the consistent college QB coach to coach him up, maybe that changes in the NFL.

What people still fail to realize about AR is that he's 1 or 2 starts away from being a one year QB starter at the college level. He's still raw... I just hope he gets on the right team to develop him into the QB that he can be in 3 or 4 years.

He hasn't even come lose to his potential as of yet.

Man if we had Cam Jackson last year and went 6-6 it'll make it even sadder in retrospect.

That's what I'm most worried about - we had a once-a-decade talent and got nothing out of it. Both Cam and Lamar had magical seasons in college.

But I hope he's all that and more.

It all starts with being more consistent/accurate with the ball... see the field/receivers better.

CDM should have started him from day 1 instead of going with jones. he threw him in against georgia, coincidentaly one of the best d as far back as i remember. i think if he came in to cbn's first year as an experienced qb he would have done much better. Mullen was stuck on EJ which was a fatal blunder he made

Unless I missed it, it wasn't "admittedly," but it's hard to look at last season and not think he was preserving himself.

Looks like a smart move, to be honest.
