There it is. I knew someone would blame it on law abiding US citizens. That’s why I posted my comment. I’m a retired LEO and think every law abiding citizen should be trained and armed. You do you and I’ll do me. If you don’t want to own a gun then that’s your right and I support it 100%.
When the slaughter of 20 six and seven-year olds at Sandy Hook failed to get more restrictive gun laws passed I gave up all hope as well. In the interim gun laws have become more permissive.
I’m for background checks. No private sales even though I’ve bought privately often. Red flag laws. Magazine limits starting at 16 rounds Convicted felon in possession of a gun mandatory 10 plus years in prison. Pass Mandatory gun safety class
Good list. I would support each of these as would a majority of Americans. However, a bill with any one of these reasonable, responsible, items would have a tough time passing through the current Congress. Put them together in 1 bill and it is DOA in my view. The laws in many states are loosening up requirements for gun ownership, gun use, and gun possession. It is my Captain Obvious observation that more guns in more hands in more places = more gun violence.
1 killed, 3 injured in El Paso close by scene of 2019 mass shooting that killed 23 at a WalMart. 1 dead, 3 injured in shooting at El Paso shopping mall We don’t need gun control. We just need to avoid churches, malls, supermarkets, mosques, concerts, synagogues, cinemas, parks, pre-schools, middle schools, high schools, college campuses, mass transportation, the outdoors in general… --Patton Oswalt
Your post is nonsense then...you knew the second you posted it. So a logical extension of your post is you support putting guns in the hands of future criminals. Nice job!
Right. Every criminal started out as a law abiding citizen. You, by a large default in your logic, want to arm all future criminals. And even teach them to use their guns in the commission of crimes. How progressive.
So take away people’s rights because they “may” become criminals. Lol Thats about the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.
