Here's what Coach Golden said to the SECN crew (mostly paraphrasing):

Talked about the losing streak tonight. The Vanderbilt loss hurt us. For us today it was all about urgency.

First thoughts: Really glad we made shots. Made everything easier. Taking care of ball much better in the second half. Were defending and battling . . . and JJ did a great job of finishing the game tonight.

Going forward we definitely need JJ. He's a great teammate. He played the last 12-minutes and is in great shape. He will do a decent job if we need him.

Hopes to know about CC soon (maybe by the end of the night). CC is "going through it right now." Next man up mentality.

Colin is likely out for the season. We weren’t making the tournament any way but this puts a fork in any dreams we had. I hope Colin heals up and gets healthy so he can make some money hooping next season somewhere!

Bold prediction, because why not. if reeves stays, plays under control and lets the offense come to him he can be our MVP next year. He can get to the rim anytime he wants. Maybe lots of optimism but he is very athletic, tall and long for getting to the bucket. Under control and not jacking 3s is key lol.

Uh, unless Colin broke a bone, he'll be back in a couple of games. And if I might add, Riley K will be the star of the team next year.

The fact that he didn’t come back, might be telling. I hope it isn’t, but makes you think the medical thinking was he broke something or it was a bad enough issue to need an MRI.

Hopefully I’m wrong and it turns out to be a shorter term thing.

Just sad for Colin. I think he'll play in the NBA eventually.
