From the United Nations website, Human-Trafficking "Human Trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for profit." Please point to which part of that definition isn't applicable to what Desantis did. Sure there are degrees, but what Desantis did meets that definition 100%.

And perhaps you are unaware, but i have been very frank about my failure to use good judgement in voting for Trump in 2016. I regret it and I hate that I did it. I had to correct my mistake as I watched my daughters (12 and 10 in 2016) mature under such a terrible human. They were 16 and 14 in 2020 and I had no interest in them seeing their dad set that terrible example again.

He's not a one issue voter. He votes for his tribe, pretty much no matter what. He uses abortion as a rationale for voting against things he professes to support, like public healthcare.

Voted for Bush Sr. the first time, and Bill C the second time. In case your memory isn't so strong the Monica issue wasn't brought to light until after his second election. I also believed he should have been removed from office after the Monica story came out. Not for what he did (consensual sex) but for lying to every man woman and child when he looked into the camera and said, "I did not have sex with that woman." I would have voted for just about anyone before I would have voted Trump. You have already admitted that your voting for Trump was a mistake, so I'm not really sure what points you have to score with that issue. As to hope, we hope that you will see the light about DeSantis. He is a really really horrible person, but because he has an R by his name you seem blind to his abuse of power and authoritarian traits.

Monica wasnt a victim of his predatory behavior. She was a willing participant. Im talking way before that. (FOUR women accused him of rape... Dating back to college) His history was well known. The left just excused it away. The Monica stuff just ended the ability for many to continue defending his behavior.
