Kirby invests plenty in his guys. The work he did to try and help Arik Gilbert get his life in order alone is pretty impressive. But that's not unique to him, the vast majority of college and HS coaches want to better the lives of their players. There are exceptions, but I think the ones who care are the general rule.

Stetson has to make better choices. He's already a mid-late round draft pick kind of guy. You don't want to give NFL teams a reason to question how serious you are about playing pro ball. His old ass should know better at this point.

 

Lol. This is kinda an unhinged take. College kid gets drunk and suddenly the football teams head coach doesn't care about the players.

 

A UGA football player getting into trouble isn't the head coach's fault. Less blaming coaches, more accountability on the athletes.

As a GM you would really question how someone who is in such a critical point in his life cant keep his shit together until draft day. I get it people get drunk and people get in difficult positions like he is in but right before the draft and you find a way to screw up and get arrested. Bad move...not very intelligent.

 

Police also found his real ID that shows he was born in 1981 and his real name is Eli Manning.

I've heard that about our 2006 team as well. You buy that? There is much to say about leadership, being a senior multi-year starter, and team chemistry...

 

Well our 06 qb sits pretty well alltime. Leak was pretty good and Timmy made some fairly significant contributions to get us over the hump whether it was needed or not. Leak could have won that title game alone.

 

I have a few of those on my record and I could easily be a successful NFL QB.
