You should always have elite WR talent at UNfortuntely the top wideouts went elsewhere. UF did hit on a few gems such as Toney and Calloway.

 

I liked Van Jefferson and Swain pretty much also. Not as flashy but ever do dependable.

 

I probably am too harsh, but I have this expectation that when they are very high 5 stars they are not potential and have certain traits. Tabor was very good but was slow for a 5 star. Gardner was elite his last year. Yes, our coaches were likely at fault for some of them not developing as they should, Driskel was so raw, as was Feliepe, that they would be late bloomers or ready in the NFL only.

 

In fairness to Humphries, while he didn't do much here, he was a 1st round pick, made a pro bowl and has had a nice NFL career.

 

I'm glad we could facilitate that for him. Maybe he can pay us back with some nephews who are blooming a little earlier than he did?
