Hunter was injured and missed some time. Furthermore, he didn't play WR full time like those other freshmen, of course his receiving stats won't be as gaudy as theirs. Simply looking at stats without understanding the context behind them can be misleading. Anyway, CU will have a much tougher schedule this year and will probably be trailing in games and forced to air it out, so I expect Hunter's offensive snap counts to increase which will give him more opportunities to put up numbers.
Right. Like I said, he missed some time with an injury. Our guys had better stats than Hunter last year, Hunter is still on another level talent-wise. I don't think that's a weird statement at all. He did nothing last year because the circumstances on his team didn't really call for him to. He was a true freshman playing on a talented team where they were just working him into the fold slowly. He's entering his second season, will have a lot more on his plate and is now playing at a P5 level now against better competition. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.
Eh, my oldest son could have gotten into UF but he went to school at Colorado chasing a skirt. At least he caught her, I got a daughter in law out of it. But no hard feelings to McClain. I truly hope he likes the snow, ice and lack of oxygen.
While I agree it’s hilarious that neither Florida or Miami ended up with Rashada/McClain…Can we make it known that we didn’t pay and that’s why we lost Rashada while Miami would’ve given Cormani anything in the world and he still chose to go to Colorado? Also, I bet Rashada ends up at Colorado.
The things some coaches do to beg kids to play on their team. Even for not so super Mario this is cringe worthy. smh
No, the national media spin is UF did not honor its NIL commitment. Now before you say, UF had nothing to do with it, that's not the issue, the national media led by Josh Pate and many others are spinning a narrative the kid got screwed. Nothing good comes from this publicity, accurate or not. Whether this just blows over or there are recruiting repercussions remain to be seen.
You’re just hating on the guy for no reason. Although he’s a two way player, his main position is cornerback. A good corner isn’t determined by his stats. In fact, good corners are avoided altogether so they don’t usually have gawdy tackles and PBU numbers. Your premise has holes.
Even anyone is gonna make NIL work to the max, it's Neon. And he'll have NO hesitation to make it about "show me the money!"
I did and I posted it a while ago after reading TOS and reading the tweets that proved that he was seriously entertaining Colorado... all that from a Miami fan that claimed to be in the know. That's the post where I got rainbow-ed by several clowns here that had NO clue about how scared Miami insiders were about losing him. Some people here must think that I just make up crap and post it.
