It closes to get in the portal. Once you're in, you don't have to sign until the start of the season.

 

What happens to guys that don't pick a new school before the spring semester starts? They still have to continue making academic progress to stay eligible right? Do they just take classes at their current school for Spring? Once they enter the portal their scholarship no longer has to be provided right?

 

The deadline only applies to portal entry.

 

I would be OK with White coming back, but the only one I really want back is Jordan Young, but the coaches may see him differently than I do.

 

With Whites moms parting shot, I don’t see it. Once you go there, it’s hard to mend fences.

 

Yeah, but what if it was because she thought he was slighted by not getting enough NIL, and then she found out what the market value was and didn't want to have to fly across the country to see him play. That could change her attitude.
