Former 5* QB Sam Huard (Washington Huskies) has entered the Transfer Portal.

 

Is he Brocks son?

fwiw, Brock is his uncle. Damon Huard is his father, he played at UW too and currently works there. I’m guessing Penix returning for another year is what triggered this. They all think they’re on the 3 year league plan and he didn’t want to burn a 2nd year sitting, even at UW. He’ll likely want to land at a school where he can start immediately. I’ve seen several of the mid-level Cali schools mentioned.

 

6'8" 350 lbs. Just out of principle this coaching staff is going after him. Gotta stay consistent with Waites and Hermann.

Yes. Sign all the Jitobohs you can and then worry about where to play them later.

 

That's what I'm saying. Get 8 of those in 2 years, and you are certain to get 2 that can lock down the edge rushers for your QB.

 

Would it have mattered if we got him instead of Pierce? Mullen wouldn't run Pierce when needed anyhow.
