How do you leverage the school when nobody associated with the school can legally facilitate an NIL deal?

Florida law: “A postsecondary educational institution; an entity whose purpose includes supporting or benefiting the institution or its athletic programs; or an officer, director, or employee of such institution or entity may not compensate or cause compensation to be directed to a current or prospective intercollegiate athlete for her or his name, image, or likeness.”

The policy is that athletes have to inform the school of any deals they sign, and they can’t get deals from companies tied to gambling. Other than that, kids are on their own to find their deals. Napier, and everyone else associated with the program, is barred from promising anything to these kids, so if a deal doesn’t materialize, it’s probably the kid and/or agent’s fault.
