As much as I don’t pull for Tennessee, I always respected Josh Dobbs. He’s playing well tonite in I think only his 2nd start (if I heard the announcers correctly)
He was money in the first half. NFL defenses are a different animal though. 2nd half adjustments by defensive coordinators are some of my favorite things about the NFL. I shake my head when people start the Ole debate about whether a college team could beat a pro team. The speed, violence and mental aspects make it a different game altogether. That was intense defensive football in the 2nd half.
Great kid, too bad he was on the receiving end of the scrappy Jags D Feels good to watch entertaining football, the Jags have owed us fans a win and a watchable team for so many years
I would if only to end the debate. I get college teams areore advanced than they used to be but so are nfl teams.
This isn't a debate I've heard in quite some time. I'm not sure that there would be a lot of interest
Nebraska in the 90s was when much of that talk went around but it surfaced again with USC and some of the Alabama teams which again was ridiculous.
The crappyest NFL team would destroy and hurt the best college team. You have to understand every player on an NFL team is good enough to make an NFL roster! Many of the best college all stars can't make a practice squad.
Trevor Lawrence is whom I was impressed with. He is just getting warmed up. After 20 games in the league he looks like the investment is starting to look good.
Joshua Dobbs graduated from University of Tennessee with a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
I was impressed by his play. I kept seeing he had been with the Titans for 17 days. He looked like he had been playing in that offense for months.........
He has definitely got himself a roster spot for next season. The titans with a decent qb and limited injuries could be scary
