For those of you that were wondering... If we can't sign a bunch of players (quantity) on ESD then at least we can sign quality players. Florida will have double-digit signees participating in the Under Armour and Adidas All-American bowls this January. A Dozen Florida Signees, Possibly More, To Play in All-American Games
I wonder which school signed the most kids participating in these All American games? We might have as many as 13 players in these games. I wonder how many Bama and UGA kids are participating.
I posted this in the Twitter thread. It's not all but Florida is very well-represented suddenly THIS year. LOL!
I saw that, read it and that's why I started looking to see how many 2023 recruits we had in the All American games.
When will we see guys opt out of these all star games? They must be getting paid to play in them, right? Why else would you play if you have already signed with a college?
It was such a prestigious thing, and a recruiting tool or recruiting spectical for fans, but everything has become big business in college ball, so unless it is benefitting players financially, I think it will disappear.
Reports coming out are suggesting that our guys are looking really good, particularly, Jackson, Collins, Norman, and Rashada. Our OL are doing good in drills that usually are stacked against the OL. Tweets suggesting that John Walker and David Hicks won a rep on them showed that the ball would have been thrown 2 seconds previous if it was a game. Our guys are doing work and more importantly not injured.
