What’s a LB?

 

OSU fans are saying he's a special teams player at best. We'd probably say the same if he was one of our guys transferring out. Hope he pans out.

 

Inside or outside?

 

rumor started on a Twitter post by Edgar Thompson , he has since taken it down , take it for what its worth

 

Idk but we are about to find out

 

He had to take down the original post because it included a guy that isn’t even in the portal yet. It looks like the Mitchell part is solid.

 

So he backs the line?

 

What if there's say, a gap, somewhere in the line - what would this "backer" do in such an instance?

 

Looks like a sixth year former high 4*.

 

Considering our recent history I’d say go to the gap that is already closed?

 

I'll take upper class depth at LB. Started in 2021, but was relegated to mostly ST duty this year with a new DC coming to Ohio State. He was rated the #2 ILB in the country coming outta high school from Virginia.

 

64 career tackles, 8 game starts. I wonder how many of those tackles were on special teams.

 

Still more experience than a lot of our folks

 

A pound...

 

So a halfback and a quarterback aren't really as valuable as a fullback.

 

And more actual tackles than some of our players, LOL
