Fans are really complaining about a unique matchup against a pretty solid PAC team that we've never played before? This fanbase is ridiculous.

 

Florida is 8-4-1 all time vs the Pac12, they have never played Oregon State before but did beat Oregon 20-6 in December 1929 in Miami, to combat the heat many Oregon players wore no jerseys, just shoulder pads.

 

We’re going to have to scramble to get in 15 practices in the next 13 days.

Maybe we’ve already had a few practices.

 

I'm sure OSU is tired of hearing how great the SEC is. These boys are smelling blood in the water and want nothing more than to kick our butts.

 

Vast majority of fans are excited, a lot of people on this forum just complain about anything.

It’s not like we haven’t played a ranked team this season. We need to go out there with a chip on our shoulder and send the Beavers, (what an awful nickname. Almost as bad as their Halloween colors) back to Corvallis with an L.

 

With who at QB? My question is in reference to that. If he’s leaving, he ain’t practicing. My guess is tomorrow is the day we’ll find out officially.

 

I remember driving home late fall 1991 to Sarasota, where I lived at the time, listening to some sports talk on the radio. Gator fans were complaining that we had to play 8-3 Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl… instead of a higher ranked opponent. Like it was below us. Just saying.

We have never played Oregon State.
Only common opponent this year. Utah, we beat them, they lost to the Utes!!

 

Las Vegas is a much better destination than Orlando, Tampa or some place in SC, AL or LA in December. If you can't go there and have fun, and that includes the team, something is wrong.

 

Pounding beaver in Vegas sounds expensive. I guess Costa Rica doesn't have a bowl game.

 

No clue how the 14th ranked team gets sent down to such a crappy bowl.

 

Usually go to Bowls, but not this time. I am in to our playing another game to get reps for our youngsters.

I do not drink or gamble, so Las Vegas to me is just a 3000 mile flight up and then 3000 back.
