I'm not sure there was any assertion that it is.

An off season at a genuine training table and a proper S&C program could easily add 10 to 15 pounds of solid mass to an 18 YO's frame.

But it's reality today. Wants and wishes are seldom different.

It’s not about 23. No one EXPECTS 23 to be a ‘big’ year. An improvement definitely, but NOT a BIG Year. But what next year DOES need to be is a year of winning enough that our backups get quality experience for the next year and we might can see who is going to lead us in 24 and beyond. IF AR came back, he’s definitely gone after the year and then where are we???

No one expects 23 to be a big year? Really? Urban won a natty in his second year. Are we expected to be happy going 0.500 against UK and Vandy next year?

Not even SOS coached in a national title game in year two and he had an offensive system that revolutionized the SEC

SOS officially won the SEC in year 2 after winning it on the field in year 1. The natty came later. Times have changed, so I'd be happy with a trip to Atlanta next year. Fighting UT and UK for 2nd place in the East next year isn't acceptable.

Might as well skip next season as a fan, then, cause UGA's significant talent advantage isn't going to be overcome this soon.

So you're telling me we hired the wrong guy?

Why would he come back when he can make millions playing in the NFL? Are we going to be good enough to win a NC next year? And even if we are, how does that boost his income substantially in the pros?

He has done enough in my opinion to warrant a GM taking a chance on him. Look at Hooker from UT. No NC, no Heisman, and now a checkered future in the draft.

No Richardson’s smartest move- his wisest move is to get paid. And I don’t think any true Gator can blame him. I wouldn’t even play in the meaningless bowl game if I were he.

I'm telling you that it's not possible to make up that large of a gap in one year, and expecting it to happen is only going to guarantee disappointment

I'd point out there's a huge gap between National Championship in Year 2 and a .500 record and deciding already Florida hired the wrong coach. That's borderline hyperbole.

Fighting for 2nd place in the SEC East would be improvement over what this roster has produced the last 2-years.

Look around Swamp Gas (and welcome!). We all know Florida is in a complete rebuild. Those of us who have followed the programs for a few years also know SOS and Meyer both inherited significantly more SEC-ready rosters. It's actually not even close. However, that's quickly changing for the better as well.

Just need to temper expectations as the talent level isn’t there yet. Urban had those Ron Zook’s #1 ranked recruiting class in 2003…Leak, Bubba, Moss, RFN, Earl Everett.

Nape’s got Mullen’s crootin season classes that averaged out 10th.

Are you being serious? Look at our roster. Napier did not inherent the talent Meyer did and you know it. If you're trying to make a point you'd be better off just coming out with it.

10th not including all of the transfers and non qualifiers. What a disaster.
