FSU is going to beat this team like a rented mule.

I’ve been around as long as you. With talent we have this is easily one of worst 3 losses in 35 years to me.

If Mullen had the will to recruit at a high level and the will to make tough decisions when necessary, he could have won championships here as a Head Coach.

Nobody is changing my mind about that. But, you can't force that will on people, they have it or they don't. Mullen didn't.

It was his coaching staff, his recruits and his playbook. There has been ZERO improvement from last year to this year.

Napier dismissed more players than Mullen did last year. So the change in culture claim is also bogus.

If we lose commits which this fame will certainly be ammunition for an argument can be made that the program is worse of right now under Napier.

Richardson had 25 today loss. 11 against UGA loss. 4 against Kentucky loss. 62 against UT loss, and the one anomaly 109 against LSU loss. In the 5 losses he averaged 42 yards.

In our six wins AR is averaging 66 yards per game.

Not a leader. Can you imagine any of our championship QBs sulking and so down on himself? It’s not what a leader looks like.

Depends which team shows up. ;)

No Miller in the first half already scares me though. :D

Looked so forward to today’s game..oh but Ant got his yards passing so I guess a loss was worth it based on the game plan to feature him and it worked ..just a terrible showing Coach

In games and programs like UF….do coaches not realize or care how bad losses like this to Vanderbilt like teams - performances like we had today…do they not know how much that raises red flags and questions to the entire - or much of - the fan base?

guys like Urban - losing today would be inexcusable and inexplicable to him just like it is for the fan base.

napier now has a large percentage of the fan base either questioning his hire or his ability or if he and his staff our up to the task of coaching at Uf. Why? Because the only other time in 30 years we lost to Vandy was with a 3rd string qb and half the team hurt. Losing is one thing but losing when you didn’t seem to change anything offensively to get things going, try anything other than same players and plays, same botching of timeouts and game management and tempo when needed. Fans don’t want to walk into work Monday and hear “ha, you lost to Vandy”. It is humiliating for anyone who follows the team.

I don’t like coaches to panic but not a single player or coach seemed to have any sense of urgency or pride today. For me, Coach Napier needs to point the finger at himself and his staff in the post game presser. Isn’t going to change the outcome but praising a team like vandy and praising their coaching is not what I need to hear.

The last time we lost to Vanderbilt was 2013, Muschamp was our coach.

Agree-and I really think if people feel that we are going to get beat "like a mule" then don't torture yourself and the rest on the game thread-believe it is a loss and don't watch the game-go shopping :)

He is too inconsistent with some really bad throws.

Nape is responsible for keeping him in the game. Knowing that he played Levi Lewis all four years tells me he ain’t gonna bench a player. That’s why we are in a he running for Lagway.

But along with that, AR needs to step up. Dude could’ve extended many of those drives with his running. He chose to play it safe for whatever reason. It’s disappointing.

It wasn't his passing that was the problem, it was him handing off up the middle instead of running the outside keeper. Some time in the first quarter someone up in the booth should have told him that.

Only if we played all three in ‘79 maybe or was one of them the tie?

I’m sure we told him. We all could see it. He would’ve dominated if he chose to run the ball. Maybe he’s hurt. Idk.

That is assuming we keep what we have. After today, that is unlikely. The advantages that a school like Florida has over a school like Vandebilt in resources including the training facility, makes it hard for a coach to justify how despite such advantages, his team WAS TOTALLY OUTPLAYED IN ALMOST ECERY FACET OF THE GAME!!!

Top programs will point to wasted resources and quite frankly the lack of 5 star interest in our program. In our top 8 class, how many are 5 star?
