39 degrees is certainly cold but really not that big of a deal if the sun is out and wind is minimal.
Yes, you are in a colder climate than we are in Southern Ontario, I am from Thunder Bay originally however!
Thunder Bay is getting close to God’s Country in the great northwest. My Uncle, the truck driver I worked for as a teen up there, is who taught me that it is as far from my home in Panama City, FL to Toronto as it is from Toronto to my other hometown of Sioux Lookout, ONT. Ontario is a huge province.
Speaking of Montana; College Gameday is in Bozeman. The predicted temp when it begins is -4. 0-2 degrees when the game begins @ noon.
40 degrees isn't bad when you're moving after the first 10 minutes or so. I still run in shorts and a t-shirt at those temps on occasion, and after the first mile, it's fine, as long as it isn't too windy and the sun is out.
40 is chilly (unless there is a stiff breeze and I don't think there will be) and you adapt fast. 28 or so is when you can go into hibernation.
I live about 90 miles from Nashville and 40 degrees is mild. I was Florida born and hate the cold but 40 here barely long-sleeved weather
Up here in SC 40 is not too far from normal. With the sun out, it should be fine, unless the guys let it get into their heads. Exercising in 40 degree temps is completely different from sitting in it.
That's right. I think we discussed it in the recent past. Wife and I visited TB once and had a nice time. Hiking the Sleeping Giant was the highlight. Unbelievable beauty out there.
