damn, dude, already giving us no chance to beat f$u or even vandy if we lose to cocks? Also, get your "facts" straight, mullins was 5-6 when he got fired.
Not much. I've watched them against Vandy and Missouri. Our offense should be able to score plenty. They have issues with LB play and secondary is young after injuries. Their line play on both sides is average. Vandy ran well and did fine against them on both lines of scrimmage, SC won on a couple of turnovers and a few big plays, because they were playing Vandy. Missouri crushed them on the lines and throttled their offense on their home field in SC. Their schedule with 3 cupcakes (4 if you count tamu) and a win against UK without Levis has them in a bowl. Yep, after that all he would need to perfect is finding the right/open receiver on pass plays and he's set for the NFL.
I like our chances, but…. Over the years I’ve learned that being at home with a juiced crowd, Senior Day, momentum and being the favorite going into the game doesn’t mean a lot. It might even give SC an “ It’s us against the world mentality” Saturday. We have to play like this is the most important game of the year. Because, by golly, IT IS.
I think it was something along the lines of "Get your @$#%&*! heads out of your &%#&% butts and play some *%#$@ football!!!!!
I've only seen a bit here and there, including a fair portion of the Vandy game. But my impression is that Spencer Rattler is probably going to hit some plays down field, here and there. But he doesn't scare me too much because he's just as likely to throw a couple of picks at crucial moments as well. They also gave up something like 220 yards of rushing and 27 points to Vandy, which doesn't exactly strike fear in my heart either. TBH, I haven't seen anything to make me believe they can contain our running game or keep AR from busting a couple of big plays on their very average secondary. If we don't just straight-up suck on D, we should win and cover. If we play a full game like we played the second half against ATM, we'll skull drag 'em. JMH, totally biased opinion.
A very odd schedule this year. USCe is the last home game of the year. UF only had one home game after Oct 15, when the weather is better. Not a big fan of the front loaded home schedule, when it’s hot. 3 of the last 4 are on the road. So, if the same holds true next season, then 3 of the last 4 should be at home, yes please! But it won’t, just watch. The SEC will move the games around, again, they like sending UF to Mizzou in Nov.
I had this as a loss before the season. This is a toss up game. Strangely enough, we have seriously underperformed at home this year while looking pretty good on the road.
The only thing that concerns me is the Aggies had something like 18 of 22 starters out. So we were playing against backups. Watch out on special teams. Beamer has pulled off a couple of fake punts. Also be careful and keep an eye out for trick plays. This will be close but the Gators squeak one out.
I thought it was more like 6 players total, where did you hear 18 starters? Texas A&M's ground game stalls out in flu-ravaged loss to Florida
