Yep, and if you look at the Phillies in their dugout-they look whipped.

    Congrats to Houston, 4-1 final.

Based on regular season records have to say the best team won. That doesn't always happen.

Take out McCullers tipping pitching, the Stros arms were ridiculous.

    6 in Game 1 (10 innings), 2 in Game 2, 0 in Game 4, 2 in Game 5, 1 in Game 6.

Philly scored 3 runs in the last 30ish innings.

Philly had 9 hits over the last 30ish innings. 9 hits over more than 3 games!!!

That was a loaded Stros staff.

  6. Astros hit rate on foreign signees plus draft picks (minus Mark Appel) has been absolutely ridiculous. Lose Springer and get a young future star Pena. Hell look at how many guys in Florida get overlooked by us, FSU, Miami, etc, crazy how baseball works and some just slip through the cracks.

I love you Astros…..And for you naysayers, they are still young and loaded. (And have possibly the best owner in sports.)

Not entirely sure where you are going with the UF, SWAC, etc.

McCullers and Tucker were both Top 2 round draft picks signed by UF. Obviously the Stros paid them a lot and they skipped school.

The international signees are incredible. No way around that. They have been studs. Diamonds in the rough doesn’t do it justice.

McCormick really only had 2 plays all postseason: “The Catch” in Game 5 in Philly and a 2-run HR against NYY in the Bronx in Game 3. Otherwise, while he was overlooked by literally everyone, he isn’t great. He will continue to platoon going forward imo. He is only playing now every single game because Michael Brantley is hurt.

Yep, was thinking much the same on the international players while watching the games. The Pena kid is no doubt a star and went to the University of Maine of all places.

Maine has had some decent teams. Not where I would go to play baseball, but they do have some good teams in their past.
