Some splain something to me, why does AR throw 4th down passes away over the sideline? Earlier in the season he threw a Hail Mary away right before halftime. After that one commented that he was trying to avoid an INT. He either doesn’t know the situation (down/time) or is avoiding the bad stat, either way, that’s bad, very bad. I don’t see any other reason to throw it out of bounds.
Obviously situational awareness is not a strength of his. I’m more worried about his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down passing lol
Having a few pick-six’s on his resume may have made him a little gun shy, but still the wrong decision.
Let's be honest! He is a great runner but below average passer. Can't find open receivers and throws a bunch of bad passes. He isn't going pro. If Tebow couldn't make it because he wasn't a great passer. You expect AR will be drafted?
We need a consistent passer far more than a runner. I'm still a bit mystified why AR seems hesitant to run. He was very effective running vs Utah and UT, but seemed reluctant most other games. We had dug ourselves in a hole yesterday but second half was different, he ran. Some will say, he was hurt first half, yet ran without trouble when chased and then ran without issue in second half. Fact is, without needing to elaborate, AR is not a consistent passer. I believe he has had enough practice, game experience to show better than what I'm seeing. Yet I feel BN will hitch his wagon to AR like DM had to Franks and EJ.
I think it's about time to give Jack Miller a thumbs up. But I don't think it will happen. I mean AR just signed a big deal with somebody, so how can you bench him?
Because there is total offense ineptitude from Napier on what to call. His outdated pistol offense does us no favors already, but look at the last possession yesterday. 4th down and redzone, Kirby has a safety blitz dialed in as his definitive choice of play. What does Napier call? Nothing viable, and if you watch the play the receivers sorta half quit on the play while looking sorta lost. It never occurred to Billy that Kirby might employ a blitz and a speedier slant play should have been in order. Instead the ball was turned over and Georgia ran an eight minute drive to choke the life out of the rest of the game.
dude, get your facts straight, our last drive ended with about 20 seconds in the game that's what I think. I made that comment mid-season after a Hail Mary was thrown out of bounds and a poster asked "do you know what you're saying?" That's exactly what I'm saying and I found those plays most disturbing. It's either that or he doesn't know it's 4th down, which is equally disturbing.
