OK . . . so now he's being called a liar too?! Wow! Did you realize that? You can obviously choose to believe what you want. I choose to take him at his word.
I reminded of the incident (likely made up) where a young girl sees an animal in a natural situation that will end in its death and decides to intervene. The parent tries to tell her about nature not being quite so pristine and that her actions won't do anything to help that animal species' place in the ecosystem. Her reply is "it may not help them, but it helps THIS one". I can see where intervention can help "THIS one", but I am afraid the herd is going over the cliff en mass. It is what it is.
I don’t think Raymond determines the scheme that the secondary plays and how they play it. That is the DC’s job. Raymond’s job is to coach his portion of the secondary to execute the DC’s scheme and vision.
Maybe he did post originally at an earlier time..I have gotten old videos etc thinking they were just posted but on further review they were old..not saying you are wrong..
What is concerning to me about some of these comments is that many of the posters are parents and grandparents.
Um, have you been to a little league level game recently? Not that I have seen it in person, but I HAVE seen the videos. "Fan" is short for "fanatic". I have to believe that "o" is short for "psychotic", as in "o, crap" is what the psychotic are saying over and over.
There's a 2H at the top of the picture. Did he do it at halftime? Was he showing us how many timeouts CBN used in that last drive before half?
I know plenty of people in college who could have written it, too. I’m not trying to make it personal with Jackson. I’m just stating your typical college football player can’t write like that. Clearly somebody in the PR department did. Which is fine. 95% of our team wouldn’t be at UF if they couldn’t play football. Same can be said for any other school. Well, maybe not Alabama.
This is a question that’s been drifting in my mind since the days of Todd Grantham - how much of this is on the DC, the DB coach, and/or the DBs themselves?
I have to assume it's the DBs themselves, if they weren't lining up correctly I have to think the coaches would say get closer or dont play i
Technically. I doubt he would have stepped foot in Gainesville without control. But I imagine him and Toney are on the same page.
If we are to believe Napier on his word (and history), he wants quality coaches who can recruit and mesh with the other coaches (ie, on the same page). Raymond fits the first to a T, and I doubt that Napier just went with a splashy hire just for the buzz. He has to be onboard with what we have and how to do whatever is the least bad strategy.
