You may want to check out the Paradigm series on their Podcast. Really good series on the Bible and examining the paradigms in which people interact with the Bible and also goes over unhelpful ways that people interact and in turn misuse the Bible. Many of which I see happen in here and with many in Christendom. I think it so often leads to the Good News not sounding like good news when it's misused. Two of the three are bible scholars who participate in the discussion.

Rotten Tomatoes Is Wrong. They take movies that have big disparities in audience and critics scores, or sometimes a whole franchise or actor, and discuss.

This week was Saw, with not a single movie in the series (nine total) receiving a “fresh” rating from critics but five rated fresh by the audience and another barely missing the cut (60% positive.) The original is a 51/84 split.

    Note: they unapologetically reveal spoilers.

You are lumping Republicans with the Jan 6 stuff . Those aren’t Republicans, they are from another planet ! That is not an accurate description! I’m a Republican albeit moderate an I was sickened with the bs that happened . Just wanted to clear that up.

Started listening to one of their podcasts. Don’t know their theology yet but on first listen I like these guys. Thanks for introducing them.

Listened to the first episode yesterday, and really liked it. I was sceptical in the beginnings, because I won't like something like that, but I was wrong!

I actually like the Bulwark, so I’m confused by your post, unless it was sarcasm.

I listened to Bari Weiss episode with Larry Summers, which is very good. At the very end there was an ad for the presidential daily brief, and in the ad he was ranting about Maralago and that the FBI should be disbanded. Kind of confirms my prior perception that he is so off the rails I couldn’t reasonably trust anything he said.

Glad you found the Bulwark enjoyable. As for sarcasm you mentioned you were upset with The President's Daily Brief because you did not agree with an assessment of a singular podcast. If your into everything is former President Trump's fault the Bulwark is for you. Personally I like to keep informed of all sides of an argument. I get all sides from various podcasts. The Bulwark, Reason and The Presidents Daily Brief are all a part of that. Another Podcast I like to listen to is Capital Record which you may or may not like from a economic point of view.
Capital Record – your weekly reinforcement for the defense of capital markets. Financier and NRI trustee David L. Bahnsen hosts discussions on economics and finance in this National Review Capital Matters podcast, sponsored by National Review Institute. Episodes feature interviews with the nation’s top business leaders, entrepreneurs, investment professionals, and financial commentators.
As for Maralago that is yet to be played out and I haven't made a definitive judgement on it at this point. I have listened to several podcasts and interviews that deal with the legal aspect versus innuendo or supposition. Tom Fitton (Judicial Watch) and The McCarthy Report (National Review) are at odds on the subject matter of the warrant and affidavit. How the entire scenario plays out remains to be determined. Judicial Watch has enjoined the courts on the matter of the law in previous court cases to obtain records kept by the Clintons.

As to presidential daily brief, one episode I heard ranting and raving about Fauci being fired, a bunch of false hysteria about rebounding diseases that people should go discuss with their doctor, and now an ad saying the FBI (currently run by a Trump appointee) is out to get Trump and should be disbanded. He actually said disbanded.

IMO he is moving towards the general space of Alex Jones. While I try to keep some level of balance, listening to sources with disinformation and conspiracies doesn’t do anything to keep me informed, other than to hear where the whack jobs heads are at.

There are any number of issues I disagree with on Bulwark but it's worth knowing what others are thinking and why. There is no discourse to be had if you don't listen or read alternative points of view.

Dan Carlin has a new 5 hour episode out on the "Viking" rise - 90 minutes in. Typically engrossing

I don't listen to political podcasts. I enjoy true crime stories so I listen to The Last Podcast on the Left quite a bit.

You made a comment recently about Japan and I thought, "I bet tampagtr is a Carlin fan".

I'm gonna give Thor's Angels a relisten first. I really like that one, plus we we may as well savor Dan's content. No need to rush. Lol

    These are traveling Podcasts:
My favorite is Bear Brook and how this story led to many cold cases getting solved like the Golden State Killer getting solved. That podcast Man in the Window is very good. The Golden State Killer is a crazy story. I did not know about it.

Dr. Death 1st Season is shocking. You just can't believe that could happen.

I don't listen to any Podcasts but y'all got me to thinking about what kind of stuff I would listen to if I did. So I did a google search for Ted Nugent Podcast. I just listened to a couple of episodes of The Nightly Nuge. Uncle Ted is my kind of guy, I could actually listen to The Nightly Nuge if I was a podcast sort of guy.

Yes, I started listening to this one. Those guys crack me up. Went back and started from the beginning listening to those interviewees I find interesting.
