This puts a very positive perspective on the upcoming Gator baseball season for sure.

 

We got a transfer pitcher from Southern Miss named Hurston Waldrep.
I have a good friend in MS that has a baseball suite and gives plenty of money. He is an asphalt contractor and paved the softball parking lot for free. I have been at his house when the fundraiser guy who is assigned to him was there.
He says he knows for a fact that Waldrep got 100K to transfer.
Is that even possible or plausible? That doesn't align with what we are hearing, so chime in.

I love hearing that UF might be committing financially here. You know LSU, Arky, Texas, etc can play this game.

 

Fortunate that one of the biggest UAA boosters is also a baseball guy (Condron)

 

Did I miss what happened with the Mercer and Coastal Carolina transfer ? Did they go Pro ?

 

Hey Al,...Mercer player did (outfielder) and Coastal Player (middle infielder) didn't,....I think.
