But that disagreement would allow you to restrict their rights and you'd hide/blame the bible. How American of you. Sad stuff
Does that mean we scrap freedom of speech in favor of freedom of religion? ...or can we still talk n hold different religious views, without it amounting to a violation of (separation of) church n state?
I don't need a work of fiction to tell me what is right and wrong and how to go about my day. ANd who to hate and who to not. It's kinda funny. Make sense?
Now what he really thinks shines through. Love it when a non believer tries to use the Bible to support their beliefs.
You think people have a similar moral intuition about/aversion to lesbian sex as they do about people having sex with goats? How would you explain the widespread popularity of lesbian porn or straight men fantasizing about being with two women who are into the other? Any aversion to seeing two men go at it isn’t morally distinguishable, is it?
Per your post #180, I never claimed or stated in my post you were responding to that "eunuchs = gay. That was strictly your incorrect inference from my post, which was made in response to a question asked of Gatorhall by @tjenkins78 in post #176. My response was supported by writings from ancient texts and a response from a Christian theologian who was assuredly not supporting Gay marriage. You cannot refute the ancient Roman textual evidence, nor the response made by Robert Gagnon, only 'disagree' because you did not like what it said. Be honest and admit that.
You did and you every right to voice your opinion. Of course, gays have been the ones who've been maligned, bullied, victims of violence, oppression, hatred, and unequal rights throughout history, so you'll have to pardon me if I think your notions of being bullied or canceled is more @ a contrived grievance.
