Do you support gay marriage? Better yet, would you vote for an Amendment on your state constutition that afforded marriage rights for gays?
It’s been a liberal agenda for years. Let’s ram it down their throats. Make them accept it. Sorry not happening.
After rereading several of your comments more carefully, I realized they came off differently the first time I had read them. And you're right. Your focus was largely on commercialization, which fwiw, I agree--though not necessarily in calling it hypocrisy. Over the years I've become more resigned to the commercialization & monetization of everything. I don't like it, but I also don't get as worked up about it. You know what helps me? Very little shopping in corporate brick & mortar stores and not watching much tv, at least on traditional networks & cable where you get bombarded by ads. And adblocker helps on the internets. Not subjecting myself to the constant crush of ads & commercials has had positive mental health benefits. Same reason I stopped watching news fifteen years or so ago.
Sure.. why not? I have said several times I do t care what others do. Live and let live. You be you. Just leave me alone and give me the same benefit.
Target is trying to unload old merchandise. Don’t know if the Stars and Stripes sold better than the rainbow but that is my guess.
My sons have a friend that I call a gay redneck. 20 year old kid that likes to hunt and fish and only “dates” other boys. I think he might like that flag.
I believe marriage is between a man and a woman so no I don’t support gay marriage but there are a lot of bigger problems in this country IMO.
Yes? You will help support gay marraige when they try to overturn Obergefell? Great to hear. What other Pub is brave enough to do so?
Which is the reason my sister in law and her wife will never go back to St Augustine after something that happened to them last year
Can't speak for hall, but there is a verse in Matthew 19 -12- that is thought by many biblical scholars to speak of that issue. 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” 10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.” 11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.” In that era homosexual men were often referred to as eunuchs in Latin. There is ancient legal documentation attesting to this fact.
Can't deny there seems to be an LGBT character in most every show/movie/commercial and it doesn't bother me except when it seems like there is no reason to mention it but they make a big deal of it and has nothing to do with the story. Seems forced. When it is integral to the story and is an issue then it makes sense organically, I'll enjoy it (unless the rest of the story or cast sucks for some reason).
